well today marks the beginning and biggest day of our protest at the london excel.. we believe it's a record number at around 100 exjws at the front door.. we spoke to lots of jw's and one young man studying who has quit after talking to us.
we've been approached privately by jw's who thanked us for coming and the security at the event treated us very well.. if anyone wants to see some clips they are available on my channel the great apostate.. thanks to all for the support and love..

Well listen up - I spent my entire life in that damn cult - until I was brave enough to leave. I might have left earlier if I had known of so many others who knew it wasn’t “the truth”. Oh and I wasn’t just a fringe JW, just so you don’t dismiss my experience.

I don’t think there is only one right way to do anything. I think a crowd that big protesting gets more attention because you can’t say it’s just a “crazy guy” out there protesting. It’s probably not something I would do, but that doesn’t make it wrong.
Just this week I met with our county commissioners to ask that they stop allowing the JWs to leave literature in the county complex. Every time I go in there there are Watchtower and Awakes - they shouldn’t be allowed in a County Building. I made my case, they agreed. And now no more literature in the county building. (They are not going to allow any religious material even though only JWs were leaving their garbage there).
do you guys have any advice on dating worldly people?
how do i not freak out during my first date with my boyfriend?

Don’t take it too seriously. Contrary to Watchtower beliefs, dating is supposed to be fun, it doesn’t mean you are going to marry this person, but you can find out a whole lot about yourself. It’s a chance to explore your likes and dislikes and have some fun. Don’t put pressure on yourself that this is “the one”.

from what i understand, a letter was read this past week in regards to congregation reassignments and that the elders want to meet with people at their homes to tell them where they have been reassigned.
obviously, this would be due to the merging and dissolution of congregations.
can anyone confirm this?.
I really think it’s poor management from the top. I don’t think they realize that the culture has changed somewhat and people are more likely to be upset when something happens to them personally. That’s what happens when uneducated, delusional fools are put in charge of running a corporation and think they have God’s backing instead of getting real world advice.
In the area grew up in, which was rural, there have been at least 5 Kingdon Hall closed and tons of restructuring. But the old timers keep going.........

I do not care what other people do in the bedroom. It is up to them to make their own decisions.
For me, the thought of marrying someone and not knowing if we were compatible sexually didn’t make sense.
know before i say anything the title might make go like ''what?are you going to say that its bad for a younger person to be friends with a older one'' no not at all i think its a good thing that a kid should have at least one older person they are friends with.. now,i dont think young people should not try and talk to some one older than them or become friends like i said.but to me it seems more like a cover up for the watchtower because a lot of young people when they can most will likey want to get out and leave.now to me all the time when i see a congregation there are more older people than younger.young people mostly want to have a friends there age,but that's hard most family's say ''we dont want to have kids in this system.
''which leaves a low amount of kids in a congregation.. what i'm saying here is that not all congregations have 12,13,16,5,6 year old kids so kids that age dont have many friends to start out with.
so i see the hole thing on making friends with older ones and you should be talking to older ones more as a cover up to that problem.. i might be wrong about this hole thing but i wanted to talk about,as some one who cant really have friends because there is no one my age i could really talk to..
I also think they want to encourage friendships with older ones to try to control the natural actions of the younger members. Older ones tend to be more indoctrinated and less questioning - and can guide young ones to be the same.

because JWs get to tell everyone what to do or not do.......
over a period of time i got to thinking - what does the word 'apostate' mean to me.
having given it some thought, this is my view;.
the org has given the word its own definition and basically use it to demonise people and consider them pariahs.. however, the jw meaning of 'apostate' is a mere word and only has power if recognised as such.
Courageous, brave enough to question their entire belief system.
i'm not proud of the fact that it took me over 50 years to realized what the organization really was and to finally leave it.
not proud at all, i feel pretty stupid.
however i didn't lose my children.
After I left I realized I had to play the hand I was dealt. I did miss out on a lot growing up in the cult. But when I left, it was my decision, not one I could blame on anyone else. I didn’t wait for my parents to leave so I could follow them.(They never will leave.)
It was harder to assimilate into a “regular” life after having been raised as a witness. But many worldly people helped me along the way. I don’t blame my parents for joining the cult. The Witnesses caught them at a vulnerable point in their lives, and neither had their family’s support.
You can choose to dwell on the past and the negative impact or choose to say this will not define me.
